Emissions

Emissions Inspection is part of the “Air Check Virginia Program”. This inspection is performed in order to make sure our vehicles are not overly polluting the air. This is only performed and required in certain county’s within the limits of Virginia.

If you live within one of these counties which require you to get this Inspection performed, it is only completed every two years. The test itself is good for three months once completed in order for the renewal of your License plates, at which time you can then have your plates good for two years before DMV requires your updated emissions testing.
